Tomos is the CEO of SourceCo, where he is responsible for establishing the vision for our software products, fostering a client-first culture, and driving business growth through both existing and new lines. He has extensive experience in the lead generation, data, and institutional M&A industries.
Before joining SourceCo, he co-founded and served as Partner at SMC Infrastructure Partners, focusing on transaction origination. Prior to SMC, he successfully founded and exited a health care lead aggregator and reseller called Cavity Leads, and played a pivotal role in founding and leading several venture-backed companies.
Mr. Mughan studied Political Science at The Ohio State University. Born in Australia, his family hails from England, and he moved to America as a child. In his spare time, he enjoys soccer, tennis, the outdoors, and a glass of wine.
Daniel Kobayashi
Mr. Kobayashi is President at SourceCo, overseeing M&A engagements and teams across multiple verticals and leading merchant banking initiatives. He has over 20 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, and middle market M&A.Before SourceCo, he served as Executive Vice President of Acquisitions and a Partner of SMC Infrastructure Partners, focused on buy-side M&A and private equity transactions.
Prior to SMC, he worked as a Managing Director of Investment Banking at Bankers Capital International. Earlier in his career, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of J.P. Morgan in New York. He began his career at Houlihan Lokey, working on middle market M&A and financial advisory engagements.
Mr. Kobayashi holds a BS in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia with a concentration in Finance and holds the Series 24, 79, 7, and 63 licenses from FINRA. Originally from Pennsylvania, he enjoys art, playing tennis, and film festivals.
Kyle Collins
Kyle Collins is a Vice President at SourceCo, focusing on sourcing transactions across a wide array of industries in the middle-market. Kyle utilizes his business development and M&A background to generate deal flow for Private Equity clients and specialty investors. He manages campaign execution and oversees market research, lead origination, and seller introductions.
Prior to SourceCo, Kyle worked at TruSight, LLC, an M&A advisory firm. Here he led retained buyside deal origination efforts across SaaS, manufacturing, financial, and consumer services verticals. Kyle began his career at RK Capital Partners, where he worked on deal origination, research, and marketing for private equity M&A campaigns. Throughout his career, Kyle has helped source dozens of add-on and platform opportunities for his clients.
Kyle is an MBA candidate at the University of Houston and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia. Originally from Georgia, Kyle now lives in Houston where he enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with his family.
Jim Burden
Jim Burden is the Director of Business Development for SourceCo, focusing on driving deal flow with both clients and partners.Before SourceCo, he held a variety of Sales Leadership roles in the technology industry working for Dell/EMC, Ahead Technologies and Roundtower Technologies.
He has also been a serial entrepreneur throughout his 30-year career building and selling 3 separate multi-million dollar businesses as well as an being avid commercial real estate investor. He has served on numerous boards for multiple charities throughout his career currently working as an advisor for Sam's Fans.
Mr. Burden got his Business Degree from The Ohio State University, is married with 3 children and when he isn't at a sporting event with one of them, he enjoys golf, softball, pickleball and is an avid reader.
Treya Naidu
Treya is the Chief of Staff at SourceCo, overseeing strategic initiatives, managing the backend of critical projects, and ensuring alignment and effective communication across the organization to drive the company's success. With a knack for automation & machine learning, she continues to help optimize systems & processes at the company.
Before SourceCo, she worked at NCR Voyix, a billion dollar American software company as a software engineer where she overlooked the quality of the tech products. She also founded a startup of her own and dabbled in consulting for 30+ companies. In addition, she worked for Vesila Global as head of business development and helped them close several deals in the Healthcare sector in UAE.
Treya holds a software engineering degree and has plans to pursue an MBA in Business Strategies. She has done several courses on M&A, business strategies and AI. Based in Dubai, she enjoys exploring new places, rewatching Seinfeld for the 100th time and playing strategy games.
Jack Galleger
Jack is an analyst at SourceCo focusing on business development. He focuses on connecting with targets on behalf of clients and working with merchant banking deals.
Before joining SourceCo, he was a corporate accountant at a family office in Minneapolis. He has a diverse background in financial modeling, M&A, and private market research.
Jack holds a BA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas and is in pursuit of obtaining a Series 7 license. Originally from Minneapolis, he enjoys the lake, hockey, golfing and lifting.
Leith Akallal
Leith is an Analyst at SourceCo, specializing in sourcing off-market opportunities for investors and developing outreach strategies.
He has experience as a business broker, assisting in lower middle market transactions across various sectors, and in distressed debt sales, sourcing unsecured debt investments in bankruptcy cases.
Leith holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Fordham University. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he enjoys playing basketball and soccer in his spare time.
Charles Joerss
Charles Joerss is a Senior Associate at SourceCo, focusing on a diverse array of transactions across different industries and verticals. Charles utilizes his background in financial services and M&A to help facilitate deal flow.
He is responsible for campaign strategy and execution including engaging with target companies, qualifying, and confirming if the business fits the client's strategic goals.Prior to SourceCo, Charles worked at SMC Infrastructure Partners, a de novo core-plus infrastructure private equity firm where he worked on several acquisitions.
Charles started his career at Whitehall & Company, an infrastructure-focused investment bank. At Whitehall, Charles worked debt and equity placement across a variety of sectors from automotive suppliers to thermal and renewable energy projects. Charles received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fordham University. Originally from New York, he enjoys boating, cycling, and spending time with his family.
Shawnt Diarbekirian
Mr. Diarbekirian is a Senior Associate at SourceCo, focusing on transactions in the healthcare and business services sectors. He utilizes his background in corporate development, M&A, and buy-side advisory to help facilitate deal flow and oversee the transaction process.
Before SourceCo, he worked as a Senior Analyst at Curative, Inc., leading initiatives in strategic finance and corporate M&A in biotech and diagnostic testing. Prior to that, he worked in corporate development and M&A in the diagnostic imaging services space at RadNet, Inc. and began his career in buy-side advisory at Harvey & Company.
Mr. Diarbekirian holds an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and a B.S. in Neuroscience from UC Riverside. Originally from Los Angeles, he enjoys playing golf, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
